Many thanks to all who helped put together the meaningful worship service and farewell reception for Pastor Randy this past weekend. The expression of gratitude and outpouring of love and care for him and his family was clear.

A Note From Pastor Randy
Thank you for the wonderful send-off given to Beth and me last Sunday. The outpouring of affection and the generosity of the gifts was extremely touching and much appreciated. We love the array of presents—the quilts, books, Maryland crab picking “tools,” flowers, church watercolor, and other gifts—and we are humbled by the generosity of the Love Offering provided by the congregation.
As I’ve often said, Woods Church is an exceptional congregation, committed to faithful witness, caring pastoral ministry, creative worship, generous mission, and Christian education for all ages. During the coming weeks, continue to pray for the Pastor Nominating Committee in their ongoing search process. But also keep your eyes open to the ways God is calling each member of Woods to support the church’s “transformative” mission and actively join the vibrant “cloud of witnesses” of this congregation.
