    COVID-19 Pandemic Update

    The Session of Woods Memorial Church has determined, for the safety of the congregation and the community, to return to more preventive guidelines for the use of the church.
     
    • Worship Services will be held online or drive in.
    • Indoor funeral services will be limited to 10 people.
    • Sunday school will return to Stage 2, virtual meetings.
    • Small group gatherings will be move to virtual meetings.
    • Volunteer receptionists will not work in the church office.
    These guidelines will be in effect until such a time that conditions allow the safe reopening of church facilities.
     
    This decision is based on the increase in several metrics that measure the COVID-19 pandemic in Maryland and Anne Arundel County, including new cases and hospitalization rates, and the direction of local and state leaders.
